The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at Cookeville is proud to be part of the state and national network of Small Business Development Centers which support the small business community and serve as advocates for issues of concern to small business.
In response to its mandate from the Small Business Association (SBA), this center serves “for profit” businesses in nine counties across the Upper Cumberland region of Tennessee, providing seminars, workshops, and individual consulting services to new and existing small businesses.
Through partnership with our local sponsor, Tennessee Technological University (TTU), this center has access to the resources and programs of a major regional public university, which enhance services available to client businesses. Our office is located in Johnson Hall on the TTU campus.
Our Mission:
The mission of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) at Cookeville is to provide quality solutions to potential and existing small businesses through consultation, education, referral, and support services. By providing these services through its interactive network of resource partners, the TSBDC promotes growth in the domestic and international markets of the business community and enhances its economic impact on the State of Tennessee.
